Another coat of gloss black to the engine, need to oil up the bare metal and a general cleanup to the gearbox casing etc. I need to change the distributor, do I need to be aware of anything as I remove, will anything drop out? Don't think I have ever changed a Mini distributor.

Well Covid has scuppered my plans of moving the Spitfire into the garage but more importantly swapping that fan around :)

State of play at the moment, GT relegated to back of the garage so I can re-position my bonnet hinges on the Spitfire and repaint the front end:

Work on the Spit has now expanded to a full respray so stripping down at the moment waiting for warm weather

Can't believe I have been working on this car for 10 years now, wow. Anyway Merry Christmas to all members and let's hope 2022 will be a better year, fingers crossed.

Jase, you have some serious metal working kit in the garage, roller, swage tool, English wheel. Is that what you do for a living?
I have a couple of bits that would benefit from a trip over to yours.
Any updates on the mini?

No, it's just a hobby. You are more than welcome but the garage is jam packed with cars at the moment, when I re-commission the TR there should be a bit more room.
