It had to go so i persevered. I just find it fascinating how i stripped the other arm in 20 mins and this took hours!
The bolt on the other arm just popped out with one half hearted blow of the hammer, i imagined this one would too.....

Your doing a great job Ben I had the same problems with the front tie rods, upper and lower arms. Even my radius arms were knacked as the shafts had gone right through the bronze bushes and worn the arms themselves It's how it goes though but keep going. Once you have a few bits blinged up it will inspire you
