No. You are never too old for anything.

 

I had a mate whose dad learnt to snowboard at 65. And read this:

 If she can do that at 102, you can put some stickers on a bonnet.

 

And anyway, there is nothing wrong with growing old disgracefully. Have some fun with it. If and when you decide you no longer like it, swap it back and sell it.
