Hi, in this topic I'm going to try and stance my 1990 mini checkmate. This was started for a uni portfolio (and still is) but its also because I love classic and custom cars but don't often see a stanced mini. Sorry if this is a slow build but I'm not rolling in money and any work done has to fit around my A-Levels.

And now the 'customising' starts....
First I gave the little guy some touch ups with some spots and a boot liner...
I only put 2 spots on for the moment as I only found 2 holes in the front to attach them. Would be really helpful if anyone could tell me how I should attach the other 2 spots.
This is the old boot (how it was):
And how it is now:

So when does the stancing start! get some hilos on that puppy, or at least spacers on the wheels for a start bit of poke

Give him chance, by the looks of it he has only just started
Those seats look lush in cream. I'm liking the way this is going especially with the spots. Will be watching for further updates

For the stance look.. Personally I'd ditch the spots.. Put a 10 inch wheel conversion and pit some wide 10' rims on it, new fat arches and a 'hi lo' lowering kit!! Would be sweet as! But as you say, it costs money, and for us money is tight!
