Having trouble fitting the jewel lenses conversion, bought from Huddersfield spares, box contained 2x lenses, 2x bulbs 2x bumper reflectors and 2x lense inserts (red), the trouble im having is working out how you get the lense insert to stay on the new lense or to stay on the car for when you screw the new lense to the body >_< am I missing something here? Car is a 1991 with reverse lamp so correct product bought

Your not missing anything they don't fix to the lens so its kind of just put it inside it and ram it against the car  Its a silly design really.

just put the red internal lens into the middle section of the light body on car (chrome bit), then fit the clear lens over the top, simple as that, if you try fitting them together you'll find it imossible as you nhave no way of holding the red bit in place

With mine I used tiny peices of blue tack to hold the red lens in place. Not visible when the lens is fitted. Make sure the area is clean and dry. I used cotton bud sticks to clean

In a customer car which had them, it failed the MOT as the red bit had fallen down over the reverse lense... Simple answer was to remove it all together and put a decent quality Red bulb in there.. MOT man happy.
