I like how you've painted the top green.
Here is a teaser, I am going to be painting the block/valve cover green, this red one was a test, but it is fully shaved. No honda logo's anywhere.

Wow that is series garage space you have I would love something like that.... Nice work on the clubby although engine swaps arent my thing this is going to be one wicked little car as it already was... :)
Thanks, took me a solid 6 months to build it working every other night on it. Glad it is for the most part done, and I can do some work in there. I wouldn't say engine swaps are my thing, even though I have done around 5 or so now. I gave the A-series a good run in here, had the 1098 for the past 3 years or so. But I was always looking for more power. The D-Series you just can't compare to. Right now I'm sitting at 190bhp, looking to crack 200, maybe 215 or so. I have $500 invested into the swap... can't really do that with a A-Series in the USA. Just makes sense to me for my goals.
It looks ace it really does :) I do like how you have done the build with the inkeeping of the green engine colour and keeping the car looking right it really does look great... your not the first to say the for $500 - or the British equivalent that honda is the way to go for power making an a-series quick and reliable itsnt cheap done properly.... Nice work Always have loved the look of this little estate. :)

Thanks, it took me a solid 6 months of working on it every other night to build the garage, just glad it's done and now I'm doing work in it when I can. As far as air, it's been off air for a while, been playing with Protech coilovers for a while now. I liked the air, have had air on a few cars, but it wasn't 100% what I wanted. If I could of developed the rear a bit better I would have been happy. But this car is a test mule for all things available and not.

Any updates on this mate?

Yea, for some reason my old pictures aren't showing up and I have no idea where I left off. I know I haven't updated it in a while. My problem is I kept taking in more and more customers and mine kept getting put to the side. I ideally would like it to be done in a month, but I have 2 other honda swaps to do, 1380 turbo, a 1293 historic racer, a 83 Mini, and a few others. There just isn't enough time in the day. But here is a few pics:

Looks brilliant! I see what you mean about the pics not showing up, although this happened to my project thread about a week ago. I thought I was going to have to redo the whole thread to put the pics back, but then the next day they had all appeared again

Really like this! The air ride and honda conversion are nicely executed and the BMC green cover is awesome
1 question, were you using spacered or non spaced drums in this picture?

Non-spacered drum with 3/4" spacer. The Aero-Race wheels I was able to run without a spacer because I had 5" lip and it was offset to accommodate that setup.

I spent my morning coffee break reading through this until page 8 when the pic's disappeared
Great build, I love that you just get on with it and do whatever pleases you. It's a great attitude.
