Had a hour messing tonight got manifold studs fitted as I forgot them😁 positioned door steps need drilling and screwing for tomorrow also wanted to finish my steering wheel of I brought a mk1 centre from of eBay and its to small so I brought one from mini spares that fits but doesn't have the emblem in middle I need to source one of those. Anyone got one? Here is some pictures thanks Tom

I don't think I would risk it with the horn push, I would keep searching for the correct one as I think all you will do is ruin the one you have, trying to make it fit.
It will come up just a bit of patience required.
One thing might be worth considering is search on ebay for other BMC models of the era (A35 / A40, 1300's etc) as so many of the items were from their parts bin. Also if it doesn;t have mini in the listing the prices can be cheaper!

I was working on a Morris Traveler a few days ago and it had what looks like the same wheel as yours with the horn push and emblem.
I wonder if they are the same?
