Have a practise first, an upside down practise that is and see how it goes on painting with a brush upside down.

wow what a buty....love OEW.....be very carecull and mask where you could slip with a screwdriver....( a lesson learned the hardway) no matter how carefull I was....lol...more pics

1st coat of wax oil on today going to give it another one tomorrow. It's not to bad with a brush get drops on the floor and in the eyes but it's all good fun lol cheers Tom

Lol Ile clean it up as it stays wet anyway. It's a stinger when it drops in the eyes Lots of cold water and a lot of swearing. Next time I will be more careful cheers Tom

Ha ha I'll remember that and get some professional swimming goggles for when I do mine lol, that way I will avoid stinging eyes and I will look a real treat as people walk by my garage with goggles on!

thanks lads. 

 

black parts are back just waiting for the wheels and bits and bobs to come back from painters. i have been and brought a few parts from mini spares started fitting pieces on i have got the door and rear window rubbers in the fuel pipe in battery cable in mk2 steering rack in clutch brake throttle pedals in put some rubber grommits in the floor holes fitted back the heater just need to put a new matrix in got the subframes ready to be bolted on and steering column in place here is some pictures of progress thanks tom

Looking great, coming together now, just be careful with rear window rubbers, I bought mine from mini centre and couldn't shut the windows I ended up fitting my old ones, maybe a better batch now. I did contact them but up to now have had no reply.
