Haha new you'd bite lol.... Could come to some sort of a deal with a certain gb badge and some chrome rear bin and front door bin trims.... :0)

Yes you need the black bus wheel with the austin centre..... There's a couple on eBay at the mo buddy

thanks mate the first one looks like to right one for it i am going to ask the painter tho if it can be painted the same color as the car as that would set it of more.

With regards to the steering wheel, it's quite hard to find a good Mk1 one as they are practically identical to every other one up to around 1977, but the Mk1 ones have a small hole underneath where the bottom of the horn push would be...if that makes sense? All the others don't have this as the horn was latterly on the stalk. The first ebay link would be wrong for your car I think as it doesn't seem to have the hole....131293145114 has the hole, but um....isn't in fab condition.

If I'm wrong about this I'm going to look like a monumental tit.

You can get them powder coated as mine is a bit dull on the rim as it had a leather glove fitted, was going to paint with 2k but may get a price for powder coating first. I can check mine for the hole as it's a mk1 but not sure where to look

The old black bus wheels are bakerlite and not metal

hi all i have just had the tyres taken of the wheels ready for blasting hoping to take all the bits for blasting monday. i am not sure how you can tell if they are the original wheels but two of them are different here is some pictures for you to see thanks tom
