well my mini has gone we had to take it to him as hes truck was still in mot. all sorted tho and hes a 5 min walk around from me so i can go and look at the progress when i am back of holiday. i told him that can you get photos of it while you prep and etc so i can put them on here for you all to see and he said yeh will do so not 100% sure he will but if he does ile put them up.. my garage space is a mess i am going to clean it all up and get it all set up ready before it comes back in the mean time and get my subframes blasted and powder coated gloss black. can anyone tell me what the first jobs are to do on the mini as i put it back together? i forgot how i done mine i think i started on the subframes and wiring loom bright work. here is pictures of my garage in a mess i cleaned the bottom half lots of filler dust everywhere.

First thing i would do is run the brake lines, fuel lines etc then fit the rear subframe. Then i would fit the front subframe remembering to fit the steering rack first.

Once it rolls, i would fit the steering column so you can steer it. Then i would fit the wiring loom then the head lining, then the glass.

Hang the doors and boot lid

Next i would fit the engine and plumb it all in then get the interior in and finish off with the bright work and fit the bonnet

Think that's all?

Oh and before fitting the interior, fill all box sections and companion bins with wax.

I would also wax all up behind the subframes before fitting them. and the bottoms of the doors, boot etc

Once you have done what Ben_O says start cutting the rear shelf for the 6x9s, 18 inch hole in the rear bulkhead for a massive sub, boot full of amps, speakers in the doors, tweeters up the a posts, maybe some led lights? Dirty old Metro seats, weller wheels? Lol

These kids dont know they are born with all this stance stuff, tuck and poke etc, it was all about dirty metro seats loosely placed in and wellers, did you have them big long chrome wheel nuts too?! Lol

I am in process of putting mine back together, and started with brake and fuel lines, rear subframe, then headlining, doors and glass. Have fitted steering rack and will be putting engine on front subframe and putting it in underneath, I find it easier.
Just a bit of advice regards doors as I made an error with mine and fitted new skins, painted them and fitted them only to discover the door handles don't fit in the door skin holes, have had to carefully dremmel and file the holes to get them to fit and touch up edges of paint, wish I had checked before as would have help reduce stress levels

Yes but they were more rust than chrome.
