thanks mini leg i no once the floors painted its almost there for the total painting to be finished cant wait to see some shiny paint on it!

hey all just finished painting my underside and i am happy with the finished result i red oxide rust primerd first and seam sealed the joins then stone chip on top i used about 2 bottles in the end and just given it 3 coats of old english once i have the shell painted and before the subframes and mechanincal parts fitted i will waxoil the underbody. here is some pictures for you all hope you like me results comments welcome thanks tom

will flip it over tomorrow and i am collecting some solid newly welded doors up sunday morning 2 hours drive on the motorway so will be lining the doors up next week and then hopefully the painter mark will take it of my hands and i shall get it back with in 3 weeks.. thanks for looking

You need credit for this car dude, for saying you were wondering with it being a big you had the skills to do it, but the car is shaping up to be a top class car!!

thanks josh i am chuffed from how it used to be. i wouldnt of got this far if it wasnt for this forum and everyone thats helped me thankyou everyone its not only me thats brought this car back its you! thanks alot. im sure i will have to buy a few barrels of beer of the pub to thank you all..

thanks pete it has come along way over the year of restoring it and i still have the original plates that are in the picture i am going to reuse them and just straighten them out and clean them up. thanks tom

I mean is it still legally with the car and not been sold? I presume it has if you are reusing them then My morris 1000 has a nice reg and I was tempted to sell it but its become part of the car now and always been a local staffs car (VRE 158) so it's staying for now.

o nana pete never selling the original plates it was first registered in wolverhampton what is 20 mins drive from me and the other owners have been local around me so the car hasnt gone to far from these areas. thanks tom

hi all i have got the mini back on its rolling crate and i went up mini spares today to buy new screws and buffers so i can aline my doors in the week i will be going to retford 2 and half hours drive in the morning to pick up some solid doors can not wait to get them on and i hope they fit nice and wont be to much hassle.. here is some pictures thanks tom
