If he is 80, he probably won't hear you
I do know what you mean about keeping on their good side but it doesn't look as though you were blocking his access when he needed it. Fair enough if you had it their a couple of hours.

I did look down the wet primer when applied, but the guide coat really does help with aid of a flat block it shows everything up even pin holes. If you want to be extra careful add a bit of colour to first coat of primer then you will see if you flat down to it before hitting bare metal. The palm of you hand also can feel even slightest unevenness. With practice you will get better. You can also put some panel wipe on the primer to give it some gloss and look down panel before it dries.
cheers daz ile give the panel whipe a try i think i pritty much have it there but on the drivers side rear quater it had dens all the way around the arch and half way up and its a new panel?? i can still feel abit on the dent half way up it need abit more over the top i think thanks tom

cheers mr c yeh they have done a good job on it and looks really good. i have just been out and mounted my front subby on and bolted it in place but it looks like the wings are going to need some trimming here and there to get the gaps right. i can see this is going to be hard lol cheers tom
