Hmmm, maybe some filler and priming to do ? , might aswell get abit of the boring work out of the way :P

I just came back from garage, so will measure the holes tomorrow, I know they are correct as that part of floor is still original, the larger hole towards the back I had to drill myself in a repair panel, but only copied from original so should be good. Does your tank have the drain plug in it as if not this one won't be needed. The one for the fuel pipe is swaged out wards presumably so it doesn't damage the hose, this should be easy enough to replicate.

Did your wheel arch holes measure the same as mine then tom?
Shame about the gas mate, that's a proper cork in the bottom of production, so get spot welding lol :-)

ile have a check on the tank mate i am pritty sure tho when i removed it there wasnt no pipe going into anouther hole at the back thanks tom

yes mate same measurment and my other mk1 shell is to so yours must be in the right position. ino mate i hope its open tomorrow otherwise i am going to be bored. thanks tom

well no gas place open so cant really do much today. i have spot welded the rear arches and taken the subframes of and put the shell onto a pallet with wheels to move it around where i want it now. just waiting for the gas on wednesday and then start finishing of the arches underneath and get the rear bulkhead and companion boxes in. its looking like the welding will be over soon thanks god! thanks for looking here is some piccys for you..

Lovely Tom, i think the seam strips of welding on the inside are a good call mate, and also, nice to see your other mini too in the shots ;)

As an update I measured the holes in my boot, the two near seat back are 16mm and large one at back is 25mm,
