mocked up the boot floor ruffly until i can get the rear subframe mounted i have a snapped bolt stuck in one hole that i need to get out some how.i test fitted the rear bulkhead as well but need to get the repair section across the bottom and back and then got lots of measurements from another shell and all my measurements on the floor are the same the only one problem i have is from drivers door sill to passenger sill it measures 50" but on my other shell its 49" 3 quarter but i can not bring it in anymore as that what the actual floor panel measures i can not see quarter of a inch making the car look crabbed? its coming on but still a list full of work thanks for looking.

Dude you nearly have a Mk1 shell in mint condition! almost there now, what are you going to do with it is now becoming a valid question, so "what are you going to do with it?" standard, race car, sleeper?

well we are way of from getting it in the paint shop i was hoping to get it in paint by the end of july but we will see. the end result will be original but i may have some 10" rose petal wheels on it but i will have the standard 10" wheels refurbed. its one of them what am i going to do with it when its finished i would love to keep it.

hi just a few questions i am having trouble on do the rear quarter bottoms sit on the boot floor? and do i have to weld across the bottom edge where it meet the heel board as there is a gap? here is some pictures so you can see what i am at. thanks tom
boot floor meeting the heel board from inside the car
rear quarters meeting the boot floor but they look bent in and looks like they shouldnt sit on top..
