hi mate nothing at all i will give them till end of week if i dont hear nothing then i will phone them up on the saturday she did say give it a couple of weeks.

hi can anyone tell me is the front subframe meant to be touching the back of the bulkhead? as its bolted up in the same holes on the front and onto the toe board? here is some piccys thanks tom

I can't 100% remember as been a while since I had a subframe on mine but I am sure the back of subframe is very close but doesn't actually touch the bulkhead as the brake and fuel lines run between subframe and bulkhead

As Daz say, I'm a sure that it does not touch the bulkhead. 

 

here is a pic of my MK3 with solid mount. subframe (not rubber bushes)

Hi tom, do you have the spacer blocks that go between the subframe towers and bulkhead crossmember (Were you bolt the tower too underneith) ??

 

They are about 15-20mm thikc so maybe mock it all up accounting for that block even if you don't have tham just use some scrap and see if the issue is resolved.

 

Other than that it's a miss alighment of the toeboard or bulkhead in relation to one another.

hi cliff i dont have any spacers only the one that act like a washer plate where you bolt it down. there is no other spacers as i diodnt have any when i stripped it. got a piccy of what i would need? cheers mate.

cheers daz ino on my mini its not touching but i didnt no if they was different on a mk1 i asked as i thought when the engine is in and on the road its going to viberate the shell

cheers nino i can tell from yours its not touching at all compared to mine something is not quit right and i am glad i saw it cheers tom
