Looking good tom, reckon your issue with the door drooping is because the hinges might not be being tightened up fully and you don't have the door seals on either which account for more than you might think.

So all your door furniture is on ? locking mech, striker retaining cover plate (with buffer screwed to door) and the door catch plate ? , might be one of those you're missing as when locked in place the buffer sitting in the striker retaining cover plate should cancel out any "drooping"
Happy you went with new hinges ?

Great work going on there. All looking very familiar!
cheers mike how you getting on with yours?
Slowly would be the truthful answer! But very nearly ready for paint. I won't be able to do this myself, garage too filthy and remote. Trying to save up but there's not much to spare these days.

also copied my old scuttle where the holes was and marked them of. do they look right for a mk1? i hope i have the right holes lol and the washer jet holes are in a different place.
