hi mate thanks and it went together ok just had to keep double checking everything eyes was going everywhere i can now look left and right at the same time haha i put stiffner on first then inner wing then inner a panel then hung the door lined up the door step i had to keep opening the door and then tacked that in place once that was done i checked the door again was ok and then welded everything together and had to add little pieces on the top of a post and thats it i also tacked my sill on just so i no everything is running straight and it nice and straight when i look down the side of it. all i need to do now is just weld the front of the inner wing to the sandwich plate repair abit of the bulkhead and do the top half and then that side is complete i will repeat the same as i done on the other side and it should start to get some strength back in it cheers tom

ah, I thought you would have used just a door step without the bit attached so that it looks more original where the diagonal from the quarter panel meets the door step.

hi all done abit tonight started of by removing the door skin and then i was going to fit the new bottom on the door but realized that i have brought the wrong once but lets blame it on the chap who served me at the mini show as i asked for mk1 bottom door panels and that what he give me! so couldnt do that so i finished of the welding on the inner wing engine bay side and cut out the round hole piece and put a new one in i just need to get a big round drill bit the right size and zap it threw. the biggest metal hole cutter i have is a fraction to small just my luck! will get this done some time this week out the way. once i done that i put my door hinges on just to see if they look ok and not on the angle and then just give all the inner wing a nice coat of primer to stop the surface rust as it will be some time untill i get on the filler and painting. here is some piccys
