Most parts have been delivered now I just need to source a disk brake conversion for the front but new ones are expensive I'm waiting for a good second hand one to pop up on here or eBay. I also need a new fuel tank just finding parts atm is taking time Ile upload some pictures soon as I get some parts on its a bit cold in garage atm lol thanks Tom

A cheaper option for front brakes is to pick up a pair of 8.4 discs complete and buy the 7.5 disc conversion for them, usually cheaper at the shows, you could then sell the spare calipers to recoup some of cost.
Also on your tank if I remember correct yours is the early one with bolt in sender unit, the later type is not interchangeable as the gauge won't work, so make sure you find the correct one. You can fit later one but you need the gauge and a voltage stabiliser.

Just as an afterthought you could also put spaced drums on the front until a set of discs come along at a good price,
It's looking good though. Also makes me want to get mine finished

Got the windscreen fitted tonight what a nightmare this was to fit all the bottom and drivers side went in lovely but the passenger side on the top was way to high and would not go in. Anyway after a lot of abuse swearing and sweating I got it in that is never coming out again. Here is some pictures thanks Tom

This tread is the best! You put some serious effort in this and reading some of the earlier posts, you have to be how proud of the results.

Thanks for all the documenting, your thread is a huge help for me on my mk1.  Good source of motivation!
