Thank you I was going to keep it original but I'm going to do some changes and keep the original parts they can allways go back on or with the car if I ever sell it. I'm going to put a set of disk brakes on the front for better braking then the old drums. I'm after a good conversion kit if anyone can recommend a set for good money? Thanks Tom

Wheels turned up today nice surprise when I got back from work look great had to put them on for a quick look. They are rubbing on rear shocks so I will need to get new drums with the 1" extra spacer fitted. Also fitted dizzy vacuum pipe instead of going over top of engine I shaped it around with a little chrome bracket.

Looking very nice, soon be back together again, do you have discs on front now or is that how they fit with drums, you want the alloy drums on back with spacer and longer studs.

Will that arrangement for the vacuum pipe allow you to move the dizzy far enough to get the timing right?

The car is looking fantastic, you're doing a wonderful job!

Thanks daz I still need to buy and fit calipers on the front but they did fit on the front drums.

Thanks magneto before I stripped it back down and it was running right I marked it up so I have put it back in its correct place if it does need tweaking a bit I can adjust it thanks tom
