Here is the control box

https://www.minispar...ic/GXE1008.aspx

You can diy an old control box by removing internals and connecting terminals pretty sure instructions would come with the unit,
I still have dynamo fitted so not done it myself

Hi there ToM2012.

I just spend a entire day reading your project top to buttom, and it's one of the most amazing recovery I haver seen.

In the beggining he was all rotten but you managed to do a very nice job.

I think its worth saving not shelling its always to be original shell even if it is mostly new panels I rebuilt mine with 54 panels I was close to reshelling her but glad I didnt. It did cost though &2000 in panels nearly but I did buy a lot Of heritage panels n will never sell her so worth it.I have had mine for near 30years so far she was my first car

Received my mini back from paint shop today I'm happier with what's been done but still a couple of runs in places that will need taking care of once it's back on the road. I started putting my bumpers on etc and hopefully get engine back in by the weekend. Thanks Tom

Lovely Tom.

Must have been frustrating to get it almost finished only to strip it back down to repaint.

Still, if you weren't happy, it's better to do it now than down the line

Looking forward to seeing it finished.

Ben

She is looking sweet again, not that she didn't before the second repaint... hope you get the time to start building her up :)
