It is Practical Classics Magazine, I have it on subscription, it is a great mag IMO. I had a "flashed over" dynamo on my Morris Minor for a few years before giving in to an alternator mainly to bypass the regulator box as I was having trouble blowing the cheap crappy modern lucas indicator relays.

Have you had any luck with back light connections, as they are fed from same source as number plate light so as that works the power must be there.

Think it may be best to get everything else working first though hopefully once we know all wires are in correct place it will be easier,
I have found correct wiring diagram now so will print one off

Cheers mate I was thinking where is the heater switch? I have to switches on my speedo plastic surround would that be one of them? Cheers Tom

Mine has recirc heater so has knob on dashboard, but on my mk2 the switch is on heater, the switch on dash panel is to turn dash lights on and off,

Thanks to daz electrics and progress is being done all lights and indicators working all that's left to do is get Heater working get horn working get engine up and running bleed brakes and clutch and some little trim bits to do can not wait to finish it cheers Tom
