They should get the hand chopped of hope he has insurance for the tools?Fed up of these scumbags! Just had my friends unit broke into taking off with £10, 000 worth of tools. Took his keys for the track civic type r so looks as though they were coming back. Police said not a prayer catching them

If nothing else it would be interesting to know if Minis feature disproportionately in their theft statistics and if it warrants any special attention. A few years ago we had problems with regular break-ins in West Yorkshire. The police fitted the premises with their own monitored alarms and caught the culprit in the act. If Minis are being targeted that regularly you might not have to focus resources for very long to get results.
