I have been asked if I had access to the fuses by location and circuits covered, this has been covered partially in other posts but i decided to compile it and put all the information under one post.
The information below applies to cars from 69-2000 final
Main fuses (two-fuse fuse block)
Fuse Number -Connecting Rating (amp) Circuits protected
1 and 2 35amp Interior light, horn and auxiliary units which operate with the ignition switched on or off
3 and 4 35amp Direction indicators, windscreen wiper motor, heater blower, stop lights and auxiliary units which operate only when the ignition is switched on
Note: The fitting of additional accessories which are required to operate independently of the ignition circuit should be connected to the “2” terminal; accessories which are required to operate only when the ignition is switched on should be connected to the “4” terminal.
Line fuses (two-fuse fuse block)
Rating (amp) Circuits protected
8 . . . . Side and tail lights
35 .. . . Hazard flasher
Main fuses (four-fuse fuse block - early models)
