History: I bought it back in 2001 and used it as my daily runabout until the end of 2012. It had 2 previous owners - a chap who won it in a Rover competition who sold it straight away to a lady from Ringwood. It has 77,033 on the clock. It is out of MoT and currently SORN'd in Romsey, Hants. It has been garaged at night.

6 downloadsReason for sale: It took a big stone to the windscreen last autumn and to replace the glass would have meant also replacing the scuttle panel. There's also a lot of rust on the wings, doors and sills, plus there's some on the A-panels and rear panels. In fact the only panels on the car without rust are the roof, the boot and the bonnet. I could spend £2k+ to sort the car fully, but I can't afford the time and effort, so reluctantly putting it up for sale.

13 downloadsEngine: It runs fine. Stage 1 kit fitted. I have had the usual problems with the Spi in the past but cleaning out the fuel trap and the associated tubes sorts it out. The gearbox has synchromesh problems in second due I believe to a broken washer (was like that when I bought it). The heater valve needs replacing. Small oil leak.
Other: Rear subframe is original with some welding done a couple of MoTs ago to strengthen it. One of the sidelight bulbs needs replacing. A couple of small tears in the front drivers seat. Black bonnet stripes added. Chromed winscreen wipers, mirrors, rear number plate light.
The attached photos were taken in Nov 2012, I have taken off the alloys and the middle pair of fog lights for separate sale but they are not sold yet. Let me know if you'd like to see photos of anything else.
