Cheers Cliff..though progress is on rewind right now lol
it's larry all the subs and arms/brake parts are painted ready to rebuild..just lacking the space to store things so they wont get rebuilt till at least the underside is done again..then i'll rebuild and put her back on some wheels again before i spray the rest..
Sounds like a plan, i,ve got abit of room to play with but not much!, roughly the same as you by the looks of things on the photos, my front subframe is built up and rolling, store it under the shell which is on a spit but have to take everything out to turn it over on it side (again, lack of room) some TMF members are filthy rich with space its almost rude
Oh your larry , looked at the title thing a page bak and saw a post made by ChrisCityE and mistook it for your post Always the dum one in school and no different to this day haha sorry larry

Got a bit more done today..finished stripping the bottom, gave it a good clean down with thinners..then pannel wipe rust treatment and etched..then tomorrow gonna give it a coat of barcoat just to make sure..not taking any chance this time...
Got a bit of a surprise today when a Heritage certificate turned up(my daughter loves me )so now i know the windows and rear seat are after market..the engines been changed at some point(and i can't work out these engine numbers for the life of me..) ohh and it should be Whitehall Beige so now the question is do i got with the Beige or the smoke gray????

good stuff minbin.
Is the undercoat just a white flash over or does it have some specific purpose?

bit of a catch up..got the gravitex done both underneath and the inside floor(the bits the carpet covers)
did the inside of the roof with it to..but used a spray gun to get a smooth finish..i had some left over..just thought i'd try it see if it cuts the nosie down..
so the gravi's pretty much done..just one bit in the passenger footwell i'm not happy with so thats coming off tommorrow and getting re done
Glad to say very little filling needed..mainly just where my welding wasn't as good as it could be
then we got the colour out other than the side it's laying on pretty much everything got a coat or two of smoke grey.. the underneather is finished..Again
just got 1 run in the clear coat to sort out when it's dry..
you can see the back of the wheel arch is a mess
spot the run..you can't miss it
but atleast now i'm back to,if not past how far i'd got before my little paint f*** up
