little bit of an update..still waiting on my skirt adapters for the front end.. but the grill turned up..should of paid a couple of £ more and got the lot minispares..
anywho got the grill cut down and welded in..just need to finish off grinding them down..trip to screwfix in the morning for some belts for my powerfile i think...
had to clamp it on just to see how it looked 
finally got round to cleaning up and re spraying the rear subframe

Finally got the front end welded on today and the grill finished off..just waiting for the skirt adapters but heyho we'll have to do them the hard way..
had a bit of a clear up and found a couple of bits that are on one of my to do lists some where 
thought i'd get them on while i had them to hand
one closer in..i'll do the other side when i turn her over..i'm sure to remember
have to say i thought the fan cover had gone in one of the piles of scrap..saved me a few quid

another day another catch up..chipping away at it slowly...very slowly been waiting for a few bits to turn up so's i could get on..why does nothing ever turn up in the right order??? 
thought my etch primer would turn up today so i started cleaning up the inside ready..couple of hours later got that buzzing feeling in my hand from the drill...man i need to buy some stripper 
got bored of that so moved on to the new wheel bearings all round..
few bits turned up this afternoon..brake pipes/wiring loom/brake clip tool and gaskets..and finally skirt adapters
so we had to make a start on those...didn't we? 
before...
during..
and after..still needs a bit of work..but thats one on and as always i'll do the other one when i turn her over
thought i'd build up the radius arms/brakes and being the idiot i am got a bit carried away...
might help if i'd got and fitted the new studs before i fit the hub 
must remeber to order some...

not much happening today finished off stripping the inside..couple of coats of rust stuff..etched and seem sealed
got some paint today..maybe getting a little ahead of myself
does this look like smoke grey?

BU.15 was the code got it off here somewhere a copy of an austin paint chart..

ok got a little excited had to get some paint on the car(yes i am a big kid) and besides the plan was always to get the underneath done first and get her back on her wheels..so 3 coats went on today..think it being over gravitex safed me from any runs but i really need a better gun
