Me and a good friend started up a mini/classic car restoration service last year in the northampton area, were not full time employed in the role, we do it in our spare time (mon, wed, fri evenings and all day sunday) as we both have full time employment elsewhere, but looking at going into it full time when we can afford to pay ourselves a wage.

The work we do is top quality, we can offer any kind of job, from mot welding, a basic service to full ground up restorations and sand blasting!

We currently have in for restoration a splitscreen camper, a v12 jag e type, and several minis (some of the mini owners are members on here!) heres a few pics of the cars we have done, and to show the quality of what we do.

We started with this one, an F reg mini, total strip down and rebuild/respray



In paint after repair (full length electric sunroof fitted also)

I also fitted a new headlining for leaky on here, and also repairing/painting his long term project shell




Also we have simon nash's clubby estate in for repair/paint and we also sand blasted the outside and engine bay to see what we had to deal with







The decals we dont sand blast off, causes too much distortion so we remove these after and sand back to bare metal where needed.

We also have several of our own minis Which once restored will be for sale when finished, we have x2 1275gts and a mk2 850 with only 14k miles on the clock :)

We only do this currently in our spare time, so generally takes a bit longer than your average bodyshop/garage, but the wait is worth it! Were fair on price too, so if you would like a quote, leave a reply or drop me a pm :)

The owner of the jag has 3 more for us to do! This ones ment to be quite rare, being 1 of 500 left hook V12s made, but then again, it might just be a tall tail lol

We only take on new work once we got 1 out the door, and we always say we only do it part time, and generally people are fine with it, and if a car comes in for a respray, and thats all, they tend to jump the que so we get it out as quick as possible (my mate does the the prep and painting, while i do bodywork/fitting up)

Would love to come down and have a chat with you guys. "Poppy" has paint issues with her roof that need sorting, only a quick paint, no rust.

Would it be possible to bring her over to you for your prognosis? There is no rush, as she is a pampered weekend toy :)
