i havent been on here to update in a while. the RS's are really comfy but they do sit fairly high. i have had to mount them behind the floor rail which is fine as i like the low/back look, but not so good for rear seat room.
Very pretty! I am considering the Cobra Classic RS seats for mine. Do they fit well? It looked like they may be slightly larger than the regular Classic.

Thanks!

So I have been busy ....finally...... getting my interior finished
hoodlining
then going sick with the sound deaddening
then got into the rear trim
then the carpet and the dash
and got my new steering wheel
Yesterday i had a go at putting the front and rear windscreens back in, and it was much easier than i expected. luckily i had the tool for the locking strip.
More pics soon....

What? Where's the rust?! Going by that front panel it looks original too.
I'd LOVE to have a shell like that!
you have to remember that most minis in austrailia and new zealand are in great condition because salt is not used on the roads, so the rust problem is nowhere near as bad as you fullas have in the uk, 90% of people in new zealand live withen 40km from the sea so we have a bit more rust than austrailia due to salt air

The wheels are just contessas that I stripped and painted with some shadow chrome 2pack. Normally you use a black ground coat underneath, but I used a very light grey. It makes them brighter.
There are still a few things to finish like wiring and exhaust . I actually have a slightly different plan for the exhaust style too.
That is what I really love about it. It has lots of little things that make it a bit unique, without being too "disrespectful" to it.
