I have an R56 Mini Cooper which I bought last week. It's booked in for repairs this week but I just wanted to know other peoples opinions so I can roughly know how long its going to take and what its going to cost.
So basically nothing in the drivers side door works, the electric windows work fine and the door locks too. But the mirror controls dont, the HiFi Speakers or the door lighting for the mood lighting.
I don't think its anything like a fuse because of the variety of electrics affected...
Just wondering if anyone had an idea on it :)
Thanks

it could be a fuse check tham first cause a garage will charge you a fortune just to look at it, on new cars most fuses are for more than one component,
if you have a power probe there cheap as ****
1. find the fuse for each of the things not working
2. put the end of the probe on the fuse metal bit
3. then put power through it and check if it works then you will know if your needing a new component or if the wiring is goosed
could be a modual gone there common on bmw minis i think, had a few in at my work like that
could also be as simple as
mirrors-fuse blown
door light- bulb
speaker - blown haha

Did you buy the car privately or from a dealer?
If it was from a dealer ask them to get it sorted!
