their totaly seperate between door and A-panel so just stick on but have a big cut out in the middle so just look like blocks stuck to door and panel. although they resemble the real thing they don't look real and you'll be suprised how it stands out like a sore thumb.

you would need the real deal for that that will bolt to the car and act like a hinge ;D
although its not as easy as that to get right.

No, because the entire structure and geometry are different on the cars with internal hinges. Really not worth even thinking about, especiallyn as even if you did extensive structural modifications to the A-panel and door, etc., it would still not work any better.

I couldn't tell that this was MPi at first... I guess it must have internal hinges though!

The dummy mk1 hinges are expensive. They're a clever design tho and can look good like on mini above. Personally I would save my money and not bother with them unless you're going for the full mk1 look.

they look like the real deal instead of fakes although the square door corner is a dead give away thats its a bit more modern ;D
a few people have done it and gotten rid of the internal hinges because it wouldn't work with both fitted. if i was going to go through the hassle though id have to put a round corner on the bottom of the door instead of keeping it square... they just don't look right unless there are half dozen changes made and the car is kept period looking also.

That's how I knew, square door corner, stubby fuel tank neck and the MPi front panel! ;)
