There are no MK Land Rovers, only Series lol. Just needed a new cable from the accelerator pedal to the injector pump as the old one was fudged. I think that's a pretty unique mod to this Land Rover because on the 80" the pedals come out of the floor instead of the bulk head.Love a mk1 landy. Did you find what was wrong with the engine? You said it was lacking power.....

Mines definitely a work horse, it had to pull out a new Jeep and Volvo V70 out of a snow drift at the same time at the weekend. The Jeep driver was pretty shocked at how tough and strong it was. All my Dad said was "This is the original mate". Its definitely got tons of character.love landys myself, grew up with my dad having them, his last 1 was a '02 tdi swb with the best thing being they still look quite similar to their predecessors inside. my partner wasn't into them till i brought her for drives in it and she was soon converted . have been looking for a series 1 the past few years but their expensive over here but i must say... ye done a prity good job... a landy that still retains its character

I wasn't there which is typical, when I would have had chance to play lol. It wasn't to bad I think, more down to driver error because he didn't know if it had difflocks or how to use them. I think the next job might be replacing the rear springs, as its gone a bit low at the back due to being overloaded with coal and logs.
