Looks an early shell with no dril rails and drilled gutters.
Dust it off, make it solid and MOT it and use it as is - It will draw a lot of attention at the mini shows and would look great if not contravertial on the 1959 register stand

No plate light and boot lid handle not mk1 either, nor is the is the under bonnet , brake master cylinder, heater tap, radiaiator all later.
Its been modified a lot, thats why under the bonnet its all different as it has a 1.3 engine in it, with a different radiator and he even put a electric fan in there somewhere.
He says the rear is a mk3/4 boot and lights also it has a lot of changes on it thats why everyone keeps thinking its not a 59, its modified which i stated in a previous topic -.-

Needs a lot of work to get it back to original. It would be worth doing it though. There are,nt that many 1959 ones left. Good luck with resto

I like the fact it has MKII rear lights on it, along with a MK3 rear boot light by the looks of things.
It's just like people putting facelift bumpers and OEM+ parts on newer hatch cars today, makes them look more modern.
I enjoy reading about little things like this!
