It was a common mod to do back then,swapping mk1 lights with mk2's.looks like a good project but i thought the rear lights would of been like the mk1 ones? i thought the lights that are on it now come later then 1959? please correct me someone?

Back in the 60's it would have been an ''old'' car (i.e. undesirable) so it wasn't unknown to fit the later lights in an effort to make it look newer than it was. It's gone fill circle now with people fitting MK1 lights to an 80's city-e!

Plans are just to bring it back to use really! get all the holes sorted and wiring and get it back up and running :)
exellent idea:D just please change the wheels and the colour scheme looks ...strange?

ye im not too keen on the green roof to be honest, maybe black with green racing strips but that might be a bit much, up to my father to decide really though!
