I've just fitted mine:

 

a) Because they look cool with the twin filler caps (expensive aesthetic).

b) I'm going to fit twin SU's.

c) I don't have to fill up so often.

d) Did I say they look cool :)

Properly set up twin SU's should not increase the fuel consumption........

if you only want the aesthetics you can fit a dummy RH tank filler neck like this:-

DUMMY RIGHT HAND TANK NECK KIT

"The "S" Look. If you want the look and not the cost this is your answer. This fake filler neck comes with it's own blind grommet, the assembly is held on with two screws or rivets. Once installed it looks genuine."

Then it would be fake, not into that. If your going to do it it needs to be done properly!
