Rockingham is a good circuit, but the atmosphere is dire. Its all concrete and tarmac. We race their this season and camping is none existent. The infield tracks are great but wouldn't like to be stuck with the oval. Yes its built for purpose and yes it serves that purpose well...... but if you want some atmosphere and a bit of greenery and pleasant surroundings Id rather be somewhere else . Just my thoughts.... others might differ

That was my thought the first time I raced there, but after five seasons I now love it - but it could have something to do with the fact that we always seem to to do well there. Plus the facilities are brilliant. I love Mallory but it is truly miserable in the rain. I am amazed they can call a car park the pits in the modern day. Even Goodwood has better protection (just).

I started another thread on 'favourite tracks'.... Just to stop this one getting redirected. I still think a very central track would draw more interest and for me that has to be Donington

I'm open to all suggestions for tracks that are fairly central, but Brands is just too far down South.

Rockingham! Go there quite a lot
