I just used some heat resistant silver exhaust paint that I had, Probably not last too long before it burns  O_O

This is one of the best restorations I've read on here, stunning attention to detail and apart from the paint all done at home. Really really inspiring! Loved all the blankets etc round the engine bay to protect the paintwork when the lump went in - that's the sort of thing that would never occur to me to do till I'd ruined my loverly new paint !
Great colour, really looking forward to seeing it finished.
