Why do the Lynxae and Pro-Motive kits mount the engines a different way round?

My understanding that was to get it to fit It had to be rotated 180degrees like the Pro-Motive kit although clearly not...

The lynx kit connects to a sprocket directly bolted to the diff, whereas the promo uses original crown wheel and pinion. The pinion adds an extra cog which if the engine was left in usual orientation, would drive the car backwards.

Bit of an update nearly done all running and test driven just got to play with needle clip position. And then put arches on. Here's few pictures will get a video up of it running tomorrow.

few bits done hopefully going over to jon at lynx 2nd sat in feb for geometry and rolling road.. jon modified the throttle pedal to increase throw as it was too short much better now. brackets all riveted to arches got to take plunge and bolt them on. one harness in.also alloy temp sensor housing for original r1 temp sensor so i get a read out on the r1 clocks.

few more bits done by sat it should be completely finished as on this Saturday it is going over to jon at lynx ae for a rolling road setup and geometry and corner weights setup so getting there
