just saw that, think its the same guy that i bought my mini who found this, as he was on about buying loads from a barn find! mine was sat standing for 15 years before i got him...

Did you notice the very early and original sump guard. More like a leading edge bump guard really, but a lot of us had them back in the 60's.
It would make a lovely restoration job, assuming you could find an original glass washer bottle for a sensible price.
I reckon it'll go for around £15000 at auction.

Yes, they did. Those are early after-market handles which a lot of folks bought before the Cooper came out with the little chrome handles.

First thing we use to do to all our door 'pullcord' Minis was swap to aftermarket chrome handles, some came with wooden knobs on!
Now we all want the original pull cords again.

waste of money, you'll replace probably nearly every panel on it, probably subframes as well.
You getting an engine and a log book for your money

I love mini's but it would need Kelly Brook on the back seats before I paid over £10k

Going by the 8th oldest (rustbucket) going for over £40k, I wouldn't be surprised if this sold for at least £30K.
