DTM all the way mate. nothing tacky about it. nice maniflow bud will sound amazing. decide what will make you happy when you drive it. with respect to loss of power, id like to see figures to be honest. And if so I'm sure the difference wouldn't be noticeable.

THAT SOUND!

How much for that exhaust system? :P

Definitely invest in a rivnut gun for your painted arches. I've put mine on with some little stainless torx head bolts. They are easily fitted and removed (with the correct tools) should you need to without risking damage to the paint finish.

And NOOOOO to dtms!

They're like £100 for the tool! Hmm. Surely must be an easier (cheaper) way to get them on.

My tool was £12 off eBay. You can use it to replace other rivets around the car with nicer fittings too.

You don't need a powered one! That's a riveter, for rivets, look up rivnuts too. That's a different tool.

Mines a Silverline one, cheap but well enough made for occasional use. They seem to be £14-18 on ebay. If you type in 'Silverline rivnut' you'll find a few :)

Ok I've bought one, what rivnuts did you need?

Edit: Googled.

So they should be on by next weekend! Or whenever the weather is nice.

Also,

Went to the BMW garage earlier so couldn't resist taking a pic by the MINI garage next door.
