for something a bit different to above i would and have gone for a stainless steel RC40

mine has been on for about 18 years now with no problems

Hearing things like that is great.

I had a buddy with a RC40, has had the thing years and it still hasn't let him down. Must go some way for showing the quality of an item.

+1 for maniflow against rc40, fletcher sounds better, but if you did get the twin box as its too loud otherwise

Maniflow all the way, there's no point making your ears bleed if the cars going slower, I have a single box side exit and that meets MSA noise limits for hillclimbing, and passes at Coombe. I did go through though loud stage (many) years ago, standard 850, no silencers apart from a grafted on twin exit ANSA resonator centre exit, like this one, that was loud!

I have a twin box 1 7/8 maniflow on my 1330 and it still makes plenty of noise.
