We have one!
EDIT. Actually, i don't think i do. Its looks more like we have a mainstream. As it had no proper interior i think i have got confused with a Mainstream. Apart from the fact that it seems the RSP had a sunroof, what other main differences should i find. Bearing in mind, it was painted green, had no engine and no interior. is there any thing else that would distinguish exactly what we have?
I wont show pictures because it is unrecognisable as an RSP. we bought it as a rolling shell, but unlikely to get restored back to original at the moment. I am afraid that when we acquired it a previous owner had the shell properly deseamed ( i have all the paperwork for thousands of pounds of work to the body) at some time in its life. It does not have the original engine as it came to us as a shell. I was so disappointed when i found out what it was/may be.
But at least you have possibly found another one. albeit modified almost beyond restoration.
Oh, and it was originally red .
I am sure it says on the logbook " Cooper Sport"

The RSP came out just before our mainstream coopers. There are a few differences but it may be hard to find these differences on Yoda as hes been changed a lot lol. Found these websites anyway:We have one!

Have got an export cooper in for some restoration..its a bare shell with wheels, steering wheel and engine.
No interiors and the steering wheel is a replacement wooden one, no sunroof nad wheels are just plain normal minilites but the engine is RSP.
Maybe some of these engines went on export coopers.
