I thought I'd start a tread for people to post Onboard footage from races, hillclimbs and rallies.

I'll kick it off with some of the onboard stuff that I have editted for Tim Harber and posted on YiouTube. Soory if you've seen it before but as the race season is almost upon us I thought I'd get a thread going.

First up is the Brands HSCC 2011 Meeting



Cadwell 2012 HSCC, big spin at start of race (17:50 on video)



Brands Hatch 2012, very wet circuit in race and practice.



Silverstone 2012 HSCC. If you've got the latest issue of Mini Magazine (March 2013), on page 113 you can see the result o fteh engine blow up that happens near th end of this bit of footage.



Last is a couple of runs at the Shelsley Walsh July 2012 meeting

great videos looks like an awesome championship, some big moments, good car control, 7:10 silverstone nice using a gopro too! is it hero2? do you run an external mic or std with skeleton case whats your editing software?

Thought it sounded like a dogbox. What's your thoughts on it. Have you had any experience with the Jack Knight Dog Box?

You need to post your spec of your car up. Very nice and fast!

Tim has the Go-Pro clamped to the roll bar, no external mike. I just use Windows Live Movie Maker to do these edits. I've tried using Adobe Elements, but it's just not intuative and takes ages to do what I can do on the Windows program in a couple of minutes.

It's a 1298 with a 45 DCOE. I'll check what the spec is when I next see Tim, as the engine is undergoing a complete rebuild after the blow up at Silverstone.

On the Cadwell video. Ive seen a few minis do this, pritty scary i bet, when it rains bad at cadwell its like a little river running across the road there.

It was wet both days that weekend. The race was postponed on the Saturday due to a down pour just before the formation lap. 4 cars went off just getting to the starting grid.

I love Cadwell park in the sun. but Im not a fan when its howling it down.
