Looks like an early engine, unless it has just had a dizzy conversion. If it indeed an early lump with a Coscast head, you could easily see £400+ if you broke that up for parts. You may have known that already, but its free money essentially.

hi i am unsure if it the early engine or not it come like this. ino it come out of a old astra gsi its not the coscast head one tho otherwise it wouldn't be so cheap lol cheers tom

There will be a casting on the block somewhere. HH1-HH9 or HG1-HG4. HH1-3 are the earliest blocks and are worth stripping. Cranks can go for £100+ on their own, as they are much lighter than the later cranks. Same goes for the pistons and flywheel.
