Dean,

Yours is being shipped today, as was first paid. I am awaiting delivery of USB bluetooth dongles (200 on order) which will be here tomorrow hopefully, then the rest will be shipped.

Regards,
Matt

Any rough idea of delivery date, just as im leaving the country again soon.

Wilks,

I can ship the unit for you today if you like. It won't have the USB bluetooth dongle with it, as they haven't come in yet (due anytime in next couple of days), but if you want to wait the couple of days it will be shipped as soon as the BT USB comes in.

The NODIZ systems themselves are all tested and ready to ship....

Regards,
Matt

cheers matt i received mine today . nice small little box and easy to tuck out of sight , and yes there is a rubber tube out the same side where the wiring plugs in, so we can plumb in our vacuum hose , thats one things i liked about this kit, nice neat and tidy, also a armored cable for the vr sensor which is good, i bought a felmale connector to connect to my sensor plug so no cutting about to much

going to be a while till i get to play, but with this kit it will make my life easier to run my engine out the car to test my engine and nodiz kit before i drop it in as i dont fancy trying to remove my engine again on a freshly painted car,

holmesy one thing i will say, put your rad mount on the one with the engine mount attached, you will have to do some timming to make life easier to do a fan belt change in the future with the engine fitted, if you dont you may have to remove the mount or at least the top bolt to let the mount lean back to get space to get the fan belt past

just something i heard from some else who has done it

Thats spot on!

(I am assuming of course the engine is at TDC :P )

Remember you can have it +/- 2 teeth anyway as you can trim the offset angle with the push buttons, but if you can get it at 90* then you will at least be correct for the basemap, so it will usually start and run!

So what are people's doing abouts here ht leads. Me being me .And don't just want to go out a get any set of ford leads. I have decided to make my own.
As mine will end up going on my mk1 I want the coil pack out of sight to still have that original look.
I found you can buy the ht ends to go on the ford coil, there are kits on eBay. And i found a company that sells that period yellow and black ht lead, and some period champion spark plug ends. Yes It cost more( about £45 for what I want but can be done cheaper) but you get to make the leads the lenght you want and put the coil where you want and not to where the of the shelf leads allow.
If anyone else is interested in making there own I can post up the sites I have found.
This is the last thing to sort out. Damper and coil are ordered. Just need to finish building my engine next is to reassemble my gearbox. I want to have a play with this bit of kit.
Anyone else using it on a tuned 998.

make sure you try your engine mount with your sensor bracket in place, i had to grind away at the mount to allow the mount to fit!

but all went well :)

Hi Matt,

Apologies for the delay in sending funds, I have been out of the country all week. I have sent you the £210.10 + 3.99 for the 12v diode kit.

Holmesy, I was "bidding" on that kit from ebay as well, well, i bid £36, then forgot about it  £37 was a good buy. I ended up getting the MED kit...

Dean, mine is going on a 998. I found a 998 MJ map on the autolabs forum, posted by "Gilesy" so I sent this to Matt to upload to the Nodiz unit, I'm sure he would put it onto yours as well, at least it would be a good starting base. For the HT leads and coilpack, I'm going top buy a coil pack from Eurocarparts and then see where it best to mount it. At this point I will think about the HT leads. I will probably start with the long ford KA leads, then maybe custom make some. My opinion is that it is false economy to buy second hand FORD parts (coilpack, leads, sensor etc).
