HI all just seen this on eBay
Item: Mini Midget A series Jenvey Throttle Bodies & OMEX ECU Setup
URL: http://pages.ebay.com/link/? nav=item.view&id=300859291763
Alt URL: http://www.ebay.co.u...p-/300859291763
Item: Mini Midget A series 45 split weber Jenvey Throttle Body & OMEX ECU Setup URL: http://pages.ebay.com/link/? nav=item.view&id=300859299879
Alt URL: http://www.ebay.co.u...p-/300859299879
What we all think to the throttle bodies set up? will it do a better job then sc wet manifold set up ? Will it be better then aspi unit (with aftermarket ecu)?

i doubt that will produce better figures than the sc wet setup. i believe the mini kit from sc runs an improved version of the jenvie's which i have on the MGC, which involves the seemless butterfy which makes a large difference to the flow, the name of them is ATI.
sc kit is cheaper and should have better figures than jenvie's plus a lot better customer service, came and mapped our engine on the dyno bed for us
jenvie are good but need to have a re-design to catch up

Hi Holmesy,
I have a megasquirt ecu and Im looking for a suitable throttle body. The sc setup looks ideal but I don't need the whole system, is ATI the manufacturer? Have you got any more details?

Same as u I got ms2 ecu but sc will not sell just the throttle body so looking for a throttle body I can use. Trying to see what otheres are using for a wet manifold set up

sorry didn't mean the i on the end.
AT Power are the guys, but their website seems to be down at the moment. they actually modified the base to mount correctly to the weber manifolds for us which they have now started selling since.
will try find some pics of mine

i have three but obviously you could just use 1 on a weber manifold

Doesn't the sc setup use a single throttle body on a standard SU manifold? Anybody know who makes it for them?

at power do I think if you look at twinkam website

I think if you could use one like mine from at power on a mini weber manifold with a 440cc bosch injector in eack throttle then you could see even further performance over the sc setup because it would be sending equal amounts of fuel to each inlet port, whereas with sc setup one side is going to most likey be drawing in more than the other thus drawing fuel and air over the other port

If you use a twin Webber manifold would it not be necessary to configure the ECU for Siamese port sequential injection like the MPI?

correct but every decent setup should have that function
