I've had most makes on mine over the years, but the fletcher was a beautiful exhaust

for comparison, my 1st cooper with a playmini (similar sound, but not as nicely made)

Going on a Euro Road Trip in the summer, and need advice on what exhaust to get. Thinking of a RC50 Stainless , would a Fletcher be to much noise for that kind of journey??

i run a maniflow freeflow 3-into-1 manifold to a single box rc40 1 7/8" has a nice sound, a crisp rasp to it when revs and doesnt make an outlandish sound and also is a pretty decent set up

Sorry to thread jack, but Craig are these just cat back systems or full de cat? I'm looking to get a nice sounding one on my MPi but don't really want to lose the CAT

they were both Cat backs (although I did remove the CAT on the fletcher as well, made little difference mind)

This is mine, still don't know who made it but I think (emphasis on think!) its a 2.25" Janspeed as the Manifold is a Janspeed LCB.

This isn't that accurate to its actual sound, filmed on a iPhone 4. Its a much deeper burble.

Here's what my exhaust sounds like, straight through RC40 with a 2.25" tip.
