Tom hi, Por15 is a product, that seals older cleaned panels(new ones to if you key them first) and prevents anything to go through as in petrol, acids etc, Por15 wont crack and still in a way a little flexy, check out Frost Uk.
I like working with it and use it instead of priming first then red oxide, the another coat the topcoat, it is what you prefer I guess,I believe in this stuff to keep the virus out or from returning.... ;D

start with paint-free ish metal, Por15 then key with scotchbrite, primer or etc-primer pending where you are working on, under body (BELLY) and non visable areas few layers of stone chip then paint with whatever finish.

Por15 is brush-able only, don't get it on your skin, pain in the back to get it off just like tattoo ink, not cheap but what good stuff isn't.

good luck, check out Frost UK first, they are the sole importers, they advise various stages and metal prep sprays before applying Por15, the only one I sometimes use is "metalprep"(kinda accid) to give the complete paint-free panel a final clean and starting to oxidise, that's the time when Por15 works at it's best....

never had to do that as yet but 1 tin of 475ml does the belly, sill area boot floor and arches that cost about 27quid inc postage, you buy 930ml for £33 +postage so a whole car inside and out my guess is £135 approx
