firsr frontpanel top end repair

then lamp holder spotwelded on

inner wing tacked on
inner wing and lamp surround welded on.jpg 140.82K 16 downloads
engine bay shot

all on, just need cleaning seam welding and prime the lot

2 hours later, removing the layered metal mille fueille
OS footwell cleaned out.jpg 87.2K 18 downloads
10 min later welded new bulkhead bottum lip
OS footwell new panel stiffener welded on.jpg 54.15K 13 downloads
cut new repair panel to size
OS new floor panel cut to size.jpg 53.45K 26 downloads
Tmz Brace door-frame and take out the complete door post and double flitch panel

Would not go that far Hugh, I want to get all structual welding done this week, I have got use of a spotwelder to, this does speed things up

cheers hoody99, it is one of those jobs where mistakes will show in the end, my measuring stick/pen and paper are never far away from this kinda fettling, whats your project on here?
