Not long now before judgement day mate
, just the little jobs that take time and then BRUM BRUM! (in theory
)
Will the two different shades of brown fade into one another over time do you think minimuk ?

paint will fade but not enough to match I think, so I will give the nearside a coat tmz like the bonnet etc to have the same color all over in the end....in one year I will paint him again but in Gun-metal Grey......

small update today, fitted new red-dot cones and new original Hi-lo's on the front end, new KYB shock's,.....will try and fit the new 7.5" disk set-up tmz defo on the nearside and start on refurbish offside hub

love it when a plan comes together, nearside disk set-up in position,braided hose connected, nd no rubbing!! and offside hub nd disk ready to be put on, maybe tonite or tmz

Cliff, I had a good run today, with a bit of tweaking here and there all fell into place, but that was planned way before....

Fettling on with Huye,
bleeding brakes which is a pain in any case, but found out that the master cylinder is knackered, so new yellow tag one ordered
testing the clutch master cylinder under pressure, result no leaks
made up exhaust using 1.75" maniflow back box, new down pipe attached to a modified manifold knuckle link pipe,y piece cleaned and attached, bearing in mind estate is 30ish cm longer than a saloon.....
LCB mounted on the engine, which is still not in the car, will attach that onto the exhaust and see what noise he makes, might even give him a tune-up.....

Cheers Alex, I did put a new Master cylinder on and 15min later Presto feckin brakes work beautiful, tomorrow crank the engine with the exhaust and see what he does.....

yep still at it, playing and tuning a @weber45dcoe@ is just one of those things, idling adjusting trials with different jets, mixture adjustments, air intake balancing, and gallons of petrol ..........but getting there

still running rough, on further inspection after the video I noticed that cylinder 1+2 not firing on idle because the idle mixture jet was blocked with this piece of body panel
blown all the jets out tonight and reset all, even put an inline fuel filter on it just in case more panels going through....

Final tuning is done, for now, lump is ready to go in next week...back on track
