Thats the KAD spec for the valves and who am i to argue. I guess there is a very good reason for them using stainless.

Yeah they seem to have a good reputation but i just cant see the need to be honest as there isnt going to be rusting issues with a used race spec engine were service times are shorter.
Also mild steel is more tensile.

Who knows why, does anybody know why on here ?

Here's some more specs.

Not sure what it will make, like any engine, but hoping for anything close to 190. Don't mind dropping a few top end horses for driveability and torque. All said and done, it will be set up for its intended use and not necessarily for out and out horsepower.

Dave.

oh my! what a fantastic piece of kit, i mean that engine is just awesome, pure perfection, but add to that the car its going in and you have got a fully sorted machine!

i can only imagine how much that entire thing has cost, i would love to see this in action. i dont suppose your ever going to take it to shelsley walsh are you? its pretty close to me, please bring it there!

Well the car finally made it out to the track at Curborough for a test and shake down. Unfortunately it was way too wet to think about any full speed runs, but it went very well and only had a couple of very minor issues which are now fixed. It pulled very well, revved freely, gearbox felt fine, so all in all i am very satisfied. Just need a good dry test day now for some final setup and it's ready to race. _DSC1920a.jpg
